I’m Dom Stilwell, a financial planner with nearly 8 years of experience, including time at a major financial firm and Vermont Credit Unions. I shifted to a fee-only, fiduciary approach to provide my clients with truly objective, commission-free advice. No sales, no pressure—just honest guidance with your best interests at heart.
Growing up, I quickly learned three simple but powerful lessons about money:

That last one, the unspoken rule that money is a taboo topic, is the one I’m most passionate about changing. I’ve seen firsthand how this silence can lead to financial struggles and missed opportunities. That’s why I’m committed to breaking down those barriers and making financial knowledge accessible to everyone. Whether it’s through educational workshops, one-on-one conversations, or my show on Rutland’s very own PEG TV, I believe that everyone should have access to the information they need to live a financially secure life.

Outside of work, I’m a proud Vermonter, living in Rutland with my wife. We’re avid kayakers, hikers, and always on the lookout for a good mini-golf course. I also volunteer my time at the Rutland Regional Medical Center and support local nonprofits, staying closely connected to the community I love.
